Notes-32
Navadhaa Bhakti Bhakti is always between God and man, or man to God and is always selfless, but sometimes it may occur between humans also. And that also implies the same meaning that as a person is a Bhakt to Bhagavaan, in the same way he is Bhakt to that person also. There are nine types of Bhakti described in Maanas while Raam met Shabaree in her Aashram: 1.
Satsang - Company of good saintly people In Bhaagvat it is described as nine types of feelings towards Bhagavaan: (1) Daasya Bhaav - Feelings of a slave to his master, this is called Daasya Bhaav Bhakti - as Hanumaan had for Raam. (2) Pitra Bhaav - Feelings as of son to father - as Prahlaad had for Naaraayan (3) Baalya Bhaav - Feelings as a parent to his or her child - as Yashodaa had for her son Krishn (4) Saakhya Bhaav - Feelings of a friend to his friend - as Arjun had for Shree Krishn; or Sudaamaa had for Shree Krishn (5) Caretaking Bhaav - Feelings of a cow to cowherd - as Gopee of Vrindaa Van had for Shree Krishn (6) Conjugal Bhaav - Feelings of a wife to a husband - as Meeraa had for Shree Krishn (7) (8) (9)
