A Case Of Lemmings
Written by Philip Broadley | Directed by Paul Dickson

Prologue
While waiting for Tremayne in his office, Sharron and Craig pass the time by playing chess. However, they play it at an unreal speed. Sharron wins.

"A game of chess, an ancient pass time, played as never before by Craig Stirling and Sharron Macready. One further insight into their incredible powers. Yet when they crashed their plane into the mountains of Tibet with Richard Barrett they could have had no idea how it will change their lives. Then when the people of an unknown civilisation there mended their bodies and endowed them with fantastic skills and powers, they were determined to keep their secret. Now they are able to use their super qualities to their best advantage as Champions of law, order and justice. Operators of the international agency of Nemesis."

Synopsis
Several Interpol agents who have bought charges against Mafia leader, Del Marco, take their own lives without any warning. The Nemesis agents investigate these incidents and find no answer by simple investigations so "the champions" get involved with Del Marco hoping to find out how he forces suicide. Craig sets himself up to be killed by the Mafia man in the hope to find the answer to the suicides but Sharron and Richard must rescue him when he too develops the urge to kill himself.

Review
Again another wonderful and original idea (thanks to Phillip Broadley). The way the trio go about finding out the answer is also unique. Seeing Craig purposely wait to get Del Marco's "attention" shows his dedication to the success of the mission. Unfortunately, even though Craig is not an average person, he still comes under the spell.

Sharron going undercover as the victim of a rude boyfriend (Richard) is a highlight. The whole plan works very well with Richard and Craig getting beaten up while Sharron wines and dines with Del Marco in his top floor apartment. Firstly Richard is thrown out of Del Marco's club, recieving heavy-handed treatment which results in him lying among some garbage cans in a alley way. Craig picks him up, dusts him off and remarks (tongue in cheek) at what a good performance he made of getting beaten up by the bouncers. Richard replies, "you don't think I was really thrown out...do you?" Later on the same happens to Craig, with a happy Richard ready to dust him off.

An excellent episode mainly because of the unusual events that lead to the mission's resolution. Instead of seeing the typecast heroes deal with everything so easily, which many TV shows fall into, episodes like this show how different these heroes are.
