Dr. Hallam plans to steal money from Sir Frederick's bank, and performs a special kind of surgery on him to help his plan. Hallam along with Charles control Sir Frederick with a small device placed in his ear. While investigating Sir Frederick's murder, Craig is captured by Hallan and taken to Holland. Craig re-awakens by the side of the road and hears voices in his head giving him orders. Richard and Sharron must get to Craig before he too is killed.

The highlight of the episode is the performace by Peter Wyngarde as Hallam. Wyngarde is a actor made famous by Dennis Spooner and Monty Berman's in sister ITC shows Department S and Jason King. Wyngarde portrayed King in Department S and due to his popularity later starred in his own show, Jason King.

The episode is dramatic throughout with a superb climax. Sharron uses her medical skills in this episode as well, perfoming an autopsy on Sir Frederick's body, discovering Hallam's device. Very good episode with a great tense and dramatic ending.
