Our league was first formed in 1982 with the assistance of AHPA (American Horseshoe Pitchers Association) President and V-President, Larry Lake and Tyler Sage. Raffle tickets were sold (choice, set of horseshoes or cash) to raise the money to get going. Ken Tally and Bob Henderson used their vacations to build the courts. They had help to set the ground work up and then finished it, like the fence and etc. We have had several dedicated people helping or we could not have survived this long.
