The above photo is one view of our Horseshoe pits. We have eight pits which means we could have eight four man teams (32 people) pitching on any given night.
Unfortunately, we have been down to only 14 people. We played tournament style that year. Each individual played as a one person team. We chose this method over shutting down the League. Yes we did improve on our membership, but we still have room for more improvment.
I would like to see this League grow enough that we would have to pitch two nights per week instead of the one that we are presently doing. I firmly believe that there are other people in this locality that do pitch horseshoe and would enjoy pitching with the league, if they would just give it try. (Something we need to work on.)
