Engagement
day!
Soon to be a national holiday, Brian somehow convinced
Kristine to marry him in on the 4th of July. Unfortunately,
that date is going to be a difficult one to remember.

Yarra Valley. About an hour from home
is the largest Australian wine-producing region.
Brian dragged Kristine there one chilly July
weekend, with Kristine suspecting nothing
-- except that Brian was going to pop the
question. |

dragged Kristine to
Domain Chandon, a local champagne maker. On
the shores of a small lake (a pond really), out
came the question, |

Naturally
a glass of champers was the next step -- and
the journey begins! Note she's wearing the ring
(though it didn't fit yet...).
