- Rose Aphids are common in Brisbane Garden. They are brownish-pink in
colour. Stay on every new stems and flower buds. On late spring, the Rose
Aphid colonies start to appear on the rose flower buds.

-
- Few weeks later, the aphid colonies grow bigger and bigger. Winged aphids
also appear. Rose Aphids, like all other bugs, have their needle-like mouthpart
suck juice from plants.

Then the predators, include the parasite flies, parasite wasps
and ladybird
beetles, will appear and prey on the aphids. The number of aphids start to
decrease and become un-seeable when summer starts.
