Based on a design similar to the Kemtron (Lindsey) Teaspoon of Power, the original single axle unit was for powering cranes and other work cars. Later additional axle boxes, powered by extension shafts, were introduced to permit multi-axle use. These are light duty units, not designed for heavy road locos. The 205-6 yields 32 SMPH with 33" wheels, while the 206-6 yields 21 SMPH. ![]() Note: Adjust brightness and contrast for optimum viewing. |
