A few years ago, several assembled chassis complete with narrow flat can motor, flywheels and power trucks were offered for various diesels such as Mantua's GP-20 and some Bachmann and others. These included mounting parts for easier insertion. Some generic chassis had extension castings to vary length. Most parts, including tank castings, were offered separately for odd conversions. A unique pair of plastic motor mounting clips could be adapted to fit many double ended motors.
