The Campbell City Volunteer Fire Department was started in 1973 with
approximately ten members and three trucks. The fist station was in Good Samaritan
Village. During the latter part of the 1980's Campbell City
Volunteer Fire Department moved their station and equipment to a small
garage on Lime Street. |

The Present Campbell City Volunteer Fire Station on Broad
Street was built in 1989. At that time Osceola County took over
fire-rescue administration and we became a combination paid/volunteer
system. Campbell City Volunteer Fire Department is one of 10 volunteer
departments in Osceola County. |

Campbell City Fire District includes residential as well as
industrial and commercial properties. Our calls include not only house
fires, but medical emergencies, auto accidents, brush fires, plane

If we modestly examine the
values upon which this great nation was founded, we realize that the
spirit of volunteerism has played a vital role in our foundation and
growth. Today, as before, Volunteer are a key element in our community.
The Campbell City Volunteer Fire Department relies exclusively upon the
the time given freely by it's volunteers to serve our community's needs.
We are constantly searching for dedicated men and women to join our ranks.
