Messages You Sent Me
Here are two dramatic stories which I have received lately. I did not edit any except for removing the ID of senders and the names of the ISP and any personal data. Here is what Maltese surfers are facing:
Message 1:
....I was subscribed with X till January 1997, I had never changed ISP before. Altough it was slow, X maintained a good upgrade sequence and could login at least at 11pm. But then, I received a note telling that it was going to change to a limited acess, 40c per hour from 6:00pm to 6:00am. I was used to surf for at least two hours daily. Now I subcribed with Y, for one year, in January alone the total time that I passed on line was of exactly 7 hours. It is impossible to connect with Y. The lines are busy from 5:30 to 2:00am and sometime more.....
Message 2:
I am fed up using the internet because of the same reason you explained.
In fact I am thinking of quiting using internet, and admit that I live
in a prehistoric country.
But if you know a decent server in Malta please let me know, I would
appriciate it.
I will await your mail, though I do not know when I can access it! It is
possible I am sending this mail because it is 3:20am!
