23.04.01 PERUVIAN FIGHTER AIRCRAFT BRINGS DOWN PRIVATE PLANE WITH US NATIONALS ON BOARD.
A fighter aircraft belonging to the Air Force of Peru has brought down a private airplane carrying American missionaries. As a result of the shooting, 2 people have died, including a 7-month old baby. The wounded pilot managed to land the airplane.

23.04.01 KOSOVO: UNFAIR TREATMENT OF SERBS BY NATO.
Serb citizens are being unfairly treated by Kfor troops in Kosovo, which demonstrate a predictable and blatant policy of favouring the Albanians, as the psyche of the Serb nation is insulted and the memory of Kosovo Polye is denigrated.

21.04.01 BAN ON MEETINGS IN KARACHAEVO-CHERKESSIA.
Karacheyevo-Cherkessia President Vladimir Semenov has signed a decree banning meetings, marches, conferences and all the public actions in the republic, Interfax news agency reported. The document says the decision concerns with recent terrorist acts in the republic, RIA Novosti reported. The prohibition will last till the antiterrorist operation "Vikhr-Antiterror" is over. Powerful blasts in the Stavropol region and the neighbouring province of Karachayevo-Cherkessia killed more than 20 people and injured 144 others in March.

President Milo Djukanovic of Montenegro is in favour of independence from Yugoslavia and makes a public statement which calls for the election of a majority of pro-independence Members of Parliament in next Sunday’s general election.
