After personal experience of having a caravan stolen I have decided to start a web page to try and assist people who have had their caravans stolen to give details of any marks that will help people Identify a stolen caravan. Anyone wishing to send a picture of their stolen caravan can have it put on the site for all to see along with their e-mail address or contact number. It has got to be the best idea yet to help owners trace their stolen caravans worldwide and its free. So I am going to start by saying to everyone find a place on your caravan and make your mark then anyone who has read this site and is in the market for a caravan can look for that mark before purchasing and then report the whereabouts of the van if they see it. I don't know about you but I always report any caravan with a different number plate to the tow car to the police, it may be inconvenient to anyone that has simply borrowed the caravan but they should have got a stick on number plate and saved themselves the delay .E-mail me Eric , with your details and I will post your pictures along with any description that you may have of your caravan at eric@caravanning4u.freeserve.co.uk and if you have not already done it ,get out there and take some pictures of your caravan and be prepared . I wasn't and my caravan was never found.
