Dirging
Released January 21st 1996
Rob with Jan in the background at St. John's College May 5th 1995
This tape was compiled in Jeff's room at the University of Waterloo January 21st 1996 when Rick Rudy wasn't around. It was also our first release as Cartoon Khaki. At this time we just changed our name a couple days before. We needed a tape to bring to bars in the Kitchener/Waterloo area and thought that some live stuff would be good enough. The tape has live versions of our songs from December 15th 1995 at the Humpin' benefit show and December 29th 1995 at Rumble's when we played with the Throbbin' Hoods from Toronto. The bars didn't go for the music since they said that what they heard wasn't clear enough. However having a live tape of how we sounded seemed much better since that is what we sounded like. The tape sold for the unbelievably low price of $1. Only around 10 were ever made.

If you were at these shows lucky you. If you weren't HA HA you missed it, but now for the first time ever you can hear parts of it on tape, and find out for yourself just how much we suck live.
