| This Calzada
Real’s handsome “leaguestone” -the only one in existence as far as known
to the author- is maintained by Ex-Ambassador Rosario Cariño in
its original location by the gate of the Cariños’ ancestral home
in Tayum, Abra. It marks 18 leagues from Vigan.
