Why not.... Jessie/James?
Uh oh, here's where I upset the Rocketshippers.... I'll try not to, because I am a twisted Rocketshipper, if there's such a thing. I believe that Jessie is the male of the relationship and James is the female. But James is too much under the thumb. He'd be a battered husband. While Jessie is constantly violent, James is far too busy preening his rose, in a mannor of speaking of course.... Cassidy has more the measure of Jessie.

Why not.... Cassidy/Butch?
They may work well as a team, but I don't sense any chemistry between those two. There's more between Jessie/James than Butch and Cassidy. I think that those two are too busy trying to be good at their job to complicate it with a romance.

Why Jessie/Cassidy?
Those two already have a history. And if their history stems from a romance as I feel it does then the foundations are already there. The two of them would be a good match, both being as vain and self centred as the other and both being strong people. But more than that they have a spark between them - and that's what really matters....
