My name is Benji and I am a 3 yr. old Westie and
Lhasa Apso mix. When I was 9 mths. old, I was dumped at
the Jacksonville animal shelter. I was rescued by a local
rescue group. After being adopted
and returned 3 times because of my dominance aggression,
I was adopted by my foster mom. Mom says my behavior is
improving. She adores me. My dad is an amazing guy.
I bit him several times when they first fostered me,
but he understood my issues and told mom that I needed
to stay with them forever.
I live with Paxton, Baxter, Jackson, Reno, Amy, Shelly,
Avery, Blake and Court. Their webpages are linked below.
Mom had to take a break on fostering because
of my aggression issues. Mom and Dad took me to Dr. Juarbe-Diaz,a
vet behavior specialist in Nov. 2003. Dr. JD said that
we had to have a moratorium on dogs for at least 6
months, to help me with my problems. Mom was sad
about taking a break on fostering, but she said that
I was more important and that was her job as my Mom.
Mom sews belly bands and prissy pants
for the rescue group and even tried to make doggie
dresses, so guess who she used as her doggie model?
I play along with her insanity because she gives
treats and kisses on me alot. I am dreading the day
that she decides I need to wear topknots and bows like
the Shih Tzu boys. I am very curious and love to investigate
everything in the house, which includes desktops, tables,
boxes, etc..
Check out the rescue link below for Peke A Tzu Rescue below and if you don't see a baby there that you are interested in,
please check back often since there are
lots of little angels just as cute and even sweeter than me waiting just for you!!
