On a big driving trip from Vegas in August 2003, we toured some of the best- and least-known parks in the Intermountain West: Dinosaur N.P. (UT/CO), Flaming Gorge N.R.A. (UT/WY), Grand Teton N.P. (WY), Yellowstone N.P. (WY), Great Basin N.P. (NV), and Cathedral Gorge S.P. (NV). For five nights, we stayed at the beautiful Spring Creek Ranch near Jackson, WY.
