We have volunteers in the following areas:

Fundraising - This involves assisting in fundraising events e.g. raffles, canteen, grant writing. This does NOT involve going out on the boat.

Watch Duties (Full Active Member) - This involves spending time at our base at Mooney Mooney, going out on the boat if required, listening to the radio and responding to calls addressed to the base, general base maintenance and fundraising (when available). The commitment is for one weekend in every four on a rostered basis. Members can spend from one day over the weekend to the entire weekend on their watch weekend.

Radio Duties - This involves listening and monitoring the radio at the base, it does not involve going out on the boat.

Special Activities - This involves participation in one-off events that arise from time to time:

Manning phones in emergencies e.g. bushfires;

Assisting at events e.g. canoe classic; and

Marshalling at races e.g. Bridge to Bridge Ski Race.
