MAT 107 : Elementary Descriptive Geometry

This course is designed to prepare students to teach the geometry included in a modern NCTM STANDARDS based K-8 curriculum. Emphasis is on geometric exploration activities, problem solving, and informal deductive reasoning using the manipulatives used to teach geometric concepts in grades K-8. Prerequisites: High School Geometry and satisfactory performance on the MAT 107 qualifying exam. (This course meets the General Education Mathematics Requirements.) Cr 3.
