The Democratic Republic of Spice Girl Haters was started in 1997 to present a different opinion on a then-growing, now-declining obsession on the musical group, The Spice Girls. The page has gone through many incantations, but what you see will be the final one. I have grown out of a "hate" for the Spice Girls, and though I believe a lot of what is presented here may still apply, it is now longer my duty to hold it up. So I leave this page here for people to read and think. I do not mean to insult, and though my words may seem harsh, I speak only with the intent on setting correct what I see as a problem.
This site is now
very small and to the point. I took out all of the humor and personal
info as well as pictures, etc., except for a short "about me" page.
I apologise to those who enjoyed the humour pages and other things of the
old DROSGH.

A Brief Overview of The Opinions Presented In This Site:
The Spice Girls are not evil. They are not a menace
to human life. They are, however, a prime example of capitalism at its
worst. They market correctly, get lots of money off an image created solely
for that purpose, and have fun doing it. All while the middle class consumer,
who has children who are too young and stupid not to follow fads, is sucked
into the vortex of the Spice Girls. They are not for Girl Power. If they
were, they wouldn't dress up to look their finest for the pleasure OF MEN
and parade around like circus freaks. They wouldn't sell out to people
like Pepsi. They wouldn't pose nude for magazines. The Spice Girls do not
appear, or at least have not as of yet proven themselves as a true musical
band...and so one can make an assertion that they are merely...
