I have been a big fan of Russian hockey ever since I saw the Soviet Wings play against the Houston Aeros in Dec 94. Their style of play was much more interesting! And it didn't hurt that my fave player on the Aeros was Vadim Slivchenko(from the Ukraine)! I soon read about this 15 year old kid playing for the Russian Junior National Team that would someday take the NHL by storm, and thus my obsession with Sergei Samsonov was born! I have many other fave Russian players-and that would include players from Ukraine and Belarus. I collect on just about any Russian player, but of course have my faves, who I have decided to dedicate pages to. Enjoy! And I appreciate any comments or suggestions, and any fans from Russia-as I am attempting to teach myself the language! Spaseeba!
