About This Site

This site was inspired by the dead atmosphere at the Arsenal v Charlton Athletic match on the 22nd August 1998, and the aim of this site is to kill " Highbury The Library " and to get Highbury singing again. Although the Arsenal crowd can be the loudest and most vocal in the country, like the Everton match in May 1998, this sadly not the case at the majority of home matches. As this site shows, we've got more songs than Liverpool (2) or West Ham United (1), or Manchester United, who nick their songs from Spurs. (For the record, these are "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Oh When The Saints..." for Liverpool, and "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" for West Ham. Players Songs and generic songs such as "We're the famous ABC FC and we're going to Wembley," do not count. Still, they're better than the moronic "One man went to mow...".)

Although this is the largest collection of Arsenal terrace songs and chants on the internet, it is by no means definitive. If you do know of a song that is not on this page, please let me know. I hope you enjoy this site, and the wavs sound great in your Windows startup. This is not a news site, because I do not have the time to maintain one. Try Arsenal World or Arseweb.

Lastly, no offence is meant by any of the language contained in this site, and I have tried to '*' out language which might offended where that is possible. I have also tried to avoid use of the 'Y' word.
