GAME 7 HIGHLIGHTS 
Lightning - Nevada Heat 2 - 1
Kickoff time: 1:30 A.M. at Ed Fountain.
Wheather conditions: Mild and breezy.
Lightning with TJ and John missing today challenged the U-12 Nevada Heat
victorious last Saturday against Cactus Kickers with 5 goals in favor.
Lightning started at a slow pace and Nevada Heat took advantage of the
situation and went ahead in the early game due to mistake of Lightning
defensive line where Julian playing as sweeper could not prevent a player
left unmarked by Robby and Brandon and the striker finished behind Erik
to give them the lead. Lightning fired back and moment later tied the game.
Nevada heat counter attacked and almost scored again. Julian was ordered to
play in midfield and JC back as sweeper and things got a lot better.
within 10 minutes from half Bucky scored again to put Lightning ahead 2-1.
At half time the Lads were reminded to keep marking the players and to
push up faster and to switch play from left to right.
At the restart things went on Lightning side with a Nevada Heat struggling
to keep with their pressure. Lightning had the chance to score again with a
nice driven shot of Guy that hit the cross bar. And again later shots
from Weston, Davey and Pierce went along the line to just go by inches
out of bounce. Several corner kicks also could have been finished but at
the moment of the kick or the header they were missed. An other opportunity
for Nevada Heat near the end was well saved by the goal keeper Jason and
another went to high with inches from going in. A nice match overall. Now
Lightning must be prepared to a Tornadoes that is climbing up on the table and
undeafeted in their last two games and victorious 1-0 today with Fireballs.
