How long was it before you could confidently call yourself
an NHLer? Probably three or four years.
Most Memorable Game : Game Seven of the 1997 playoffs against
Dallas, scoring the overtime goal.
Who was your hockey hero? Wayne Gretzky
If you could play with any current or former NHLer, who would it
be ? Wayne Gretzky
If you could interview one hockey player, who would it be? What
would you ask? I'd interview Wayne Gretzky and I'd ask him
questions about what it was like back in the '80s with the
Edmonton Oilers.
Best Hockey Advice You've Received : Come to the rink every
day and always work hard, whether it's a practice or a game.
Biggest Hockey Influence : My father
Minor Hockey Memories : I was in the Nationals in the States
four times in a row and I never won it.
Collegiate Hockey Memories : Scoring an overtime goal against
PRI and beating a defenseman who's my cousin.
What quality do you admire most in a teammate? Honesty.
What's the greatest asset you bring to the rink? To try and
give 100 percent every night. Give it everything I've got no
matter how you feel or what's going on.
Biggest Prankster You've Played With : Bill Guerin.
The weirdest thing you've seen in hockey : Seeing Bill Guerin
score a goal from the other end of the rink.
First Job : I worked at my father's warehouse.
If you weren't palying hockey you'd be ... : I'd be in
business in some way.
What would you like to do after hockey : I'd like to coach.
Favorite Hobby : Golf.
Who is the most famous person you've met? Wayne Gretzky.
If you could meet any person in the history of the world, who
would it be? John F. Kennedy.
When you think of your hometown (Buffalo), what's the first thing
that comes to mind? Snow!
