M y love of creating Teddy Bear designs has always been a passion of mine, although, my earlier patterns were used for knitted or crocheted blankets or throws.   My favourite was created when my first child was born.   I crocheted a baby blanket with a Teddy Bear design worked into the full-length center panel of the blanket.    When the blanket was wrapped around our own newborn baby, all that was visible from the back was a picture of the Teddy Bear the same size as the baby.   That blanket was passed around for many years, mostly for the novelty.

Today...

A number of my earlier patterns and some new creations have been incorporated into today's Baby Bearlings.  

Each Teddy Bear is made with loving hands in a smoke-free environment, with attention to detail and overall "presentation".   It is a child-like feeling watching cloth, thread and an assortments of parts slowly grow into a lovable Teddy Bear.   They come to life with unexpected expressions, unique personalities and soft charm.  

All my bearling babies have a hand-sewn nose, acrylic eyes, fully jointed limbs, and new polyester stuffing. Included with your adopted Baby Bearling is a "Certificate of Adoption" which includes date of creation, the Bearlings name (given or name of your choice), birthplace, and name of adoption family.

I enjoyed watching my little babies grow and take shape.   Eventually it was decided that it was time to expand our bearling family.   We now have cousins - bunny babies and mouse babies.
