Ling Percy Lionel | Son of John and Clara Ling, born over a shop in Church St, where Boots are now. He brought up by his aunt Florence in Ivy Cottages, which lies at the back of Louden Lane. With the help of his Grandfather William, he was able to leave Cromer and seek employment in London during the depression. He met and married Elsie Herbert and lived in Kingsbury London, but moved back to Cromer on his retirement in 1969. He died of a heart attack in 1973 and is buried with his parents in the main cemetary on the Holt Road. | 1905 | Cromer |
