There are many things to do around Arnisdale. Watching the Wildlife and looking at the scenery are the most obvious but some places that I would recomend are the Bernera Barracks. Built in the 18th Century to house the government garrisons who moved into the area after the Battle of Culloden.

You will see an impressive war memorial of a soldier and his guardian angel on the road to Arnisdale. It is for the men from the area who fell in World war I and world war II.

The Brochs (you will see the signpost) are three of the best preserved Iron age forts in Scotland.
There is a path that cuts of the shore at Sandaig. The small cottage at the end of the path is where Gavin Maxwell stayed while he wrote his book "Ring of Bright water". There are still otters living all around the area today.
There are plenty of places for walking around Arnisdale and for the more adventurous the mountains that surround the village are ideal for climbing. Glenelg candles is only a short drive from Arnisdale and is well worth a visit. Glenelg also has the Glenelg Inn. Where a fine choice of food and drink is made available.

If you want to go a little further afield why not take the ferry to Skye from Glenelg and there you will find museums tourist attractions and many shops and craftmakers.

Have a look at out local links page for more to see and do in the area.
