Daydream Believer

It's been a well known fact that in Voltron, Lotor did a LOT of daydreaming - mainly of Princess Allura. In fact he had done it from almost the moment he first laid eyes upon her. This page documents those daydreams for you to take a look at!

Allura the Slave


Now this is pretty interesting, because this is more of a sketch than anything else. Notice that Allura is wearing harem type clothing. At first Lotor wanted her for her slave, although when he's daydreaming this, he states he wants her for his Queen, which I think is something that was edited into Voltron. Probably in Go-Lion, it took him awhile to come to that conclusion.


Same dream with Lotor sipping on that ever present wine and Allura leaning close to him, obviously adoring him. Notice that Ally has on - MAKEUP!! I can just HEAR Nanny now, but doesn't she look much better?


And here is Ally again - her face is back to normal now - why didn't they leave the makeup on? Only the inker and colorist know, and they're probably somewhere in Japan - they're not telling.

Here Comes The Bride


This was about midway through through Voltron or maybe a little more but, in this daydream, - which in actuality he is relating to a captured Pidge - the Castle of Lions and the Voltron Lions are blown to smithereens and out of the explosion comes a horse drawn phaeton carriage! (Romantic eh?) Anyway, in the above picture, it's obvious that Ally is more than a slave. Lotor certainly looks happy!


The King and Queen of Doom obviously since Lotor seems to be wearing a simpler version of what Zarkon used to wear as king. Notice no crown either - perhaps because it induces baldness, who knows? Anyway, this is a very cool picture - one of my favorites. Ally's veil goes alllll the way down those steps..


Oh no! It's those ugly green guys - and in GREEN TUXES! Yaaaa! No wonder Ally is frowning!


Close of up of 'Queen Allura' - pretty solemn, heck if I knew who I was going to be sleeping with - oh never mind.
