Former President Bush attempts to teach his son how to look more diplomatic when greeting international leaders, with dismal results.

Birthday Boy Bush

President Bush celebrated his 55th birthday on Friday, treating himself to a round of golf during an extended holiday break. The president was also accompanied by his father George, former US president, and his brother Jeb, Governor of Florida. The trio played at a course which lies in Kennebunkport, Maine, not far from the Bush family compound.

When asked what he was going to get for his birthday, the president answered "I'm going to get what I want. After all, I am the most important man in the world."

He then demanded gifts from the press who had gathered to watch his game, some of which were forced to hand over their cameras or watches to appease the president.

Bush then suggested he would most likely spend the rest of the afternoon eating cake and ice cream, as well as playing games with his dad, such as Chutes and Ladders or family favorite Pin the Blame on the Patsy.

The president also expected to receive phone calls from his daughters in Texas "if they aren't too drunk to dial the phone," he murmured, perhaps thinking of his own wild youth. Bush was arrested for drunk driving in 1976 in Kennebunkport, a fact his wranglers tried to cover during the 2000 election.

Bush bristled, however, at suggestions his 19 years old daughters would follow in his footsteps by partying heavily into their forties.

"Despite our geneticisms, we aren't very much alike at all," he said. "I likes country music and they likes boy bands and stuff. They've got girlie parts and I've got one of those man things."

The president pointed out further differences, in that his daughters "have never decieved the American peoples on a daily basis, where as I have never resorted to licking tequila off the floor of a truck stop restroom."
