Welcome to the Madness of King George. We'd like to thank you for visiting our site and for subsequently checking out this page. We first published MKG on the Internet back in January of 2001 when King George took control of America. A lot has happened since then: a terrorist attack unlike any the world has ever seen, a misguided war based on alleged WMD's, and the narrow reelection of our feeble-minded ruler.
Much that we predicted back at the turn of the millenium came to pass: unrestricted corporate greed, big profits for the oil industry, a disrespect for civil rights and the afore mentioned misguided war. Some things we didn't predict, such as the horror of 9-11 and tax cuts for rich people. Just kidding about that last one, I think everyone saw that coming.
So what is the Satirical Liberation Resistance all about? It's about the freedom to poke fun at our elected leaders and their corrupt actions. It's about exposing the hypocrisy of those who claim to be morally superior, and pulling down the pants of the wool-pullers. It's about doing all these things, but doing it with a sense of humor.
Do we have a liberal slant? You're damn right we do, and we're proud of it! Especially when we get thoughtful and inspiring e-mails from our conservative visitors, like this one for example:

Thanks Catherine, it's letters like yours that help dispel the myth that only stupid people voted for Bush. But seriously, the fact that we can piss some right-winger off enough to get hate mail tells us we must be doing something right. Or should I say left...
