President Bush, the controversial compassionate conservative.

A Letter From Bush

My loyal subjects - as you have heard on your news stations, several American peoples are still being held by the Chinese in relations to that spy plane incident that happened over a week ago.

You may also have heard that the Chinese will not release those peoples or the plane they rode in on until they get an apology from me about the whole thing. I say that will never happen.

Many have said why not just say sorry to get our peoples back. Who cares if it really was our fault or not? Well, if you know me at all, you know that I never would or never have apologized for anything. Sorry is just not a word in my vocabulation, and that's just a good old Bush family standard.

First, lets look at the facts. All we were doing is spying on China. What's the big deal? We spy on everybody, and I do mean everybody. Chances are we've spied on you in the past week without your knowledges.

Next was this Chinese pilot. The Pentagon tells me he was a real hotdog, we'd had problems with him flying too close before. And then there's his name - Wong Wei. Am I the only one who sees the irony here? Doesn't his name sound like a Chinese saying "wrong way"? I think that says it all about whose plane hit whose.

The main reason to not apologize is due to the proud American tradition of never admitting we have done any wrong, especially when we have been at fault. We have built this nation on turning a blind eye to our past wrongs and blaming all our mistakes on dirty foreigners. I see no reason to change the tone for this situation. Thereforth, the Chinese are at fault and that's the end of story.

Now, many American peoples have asked if there's something they can do to help out, and my answer is yes there is. If you believe in America and freedom and all that other crap, I want you to write letters to your representatives and tell them to back my budget and tax plan. That won't get people home from China any quicker, but it will make me look like a betterest president.

Thank you, God bless me, and may God bless America.
