CHAPTER FIVE

Beautiful Drive:

I went to my sisters for Easter.
The trip over was wonderful. You travel east up over the Cascades in a wash of spring greenery. You get up to a certain point ... and the snow caps of the mountains are right beside you. You descend back down to the greenery and out to the open plains and rolling hills ... alive with wild flowers ... up over a few more hills and down into the Yakima Valley. They grow apples there .... Washington Apples.

My sisters house is over one hundred years old. An old farm house. Complete with barn and chicken coupe ... she still keeps chickens. The barn still has much of the old farming equipment in it ... but the plow-horses are gone now.

Easter was a beautiful day, the sun was shining bright. First we did Easter egg hunting... but first we have to color the eggs. Next came a prime rib dinner.. we usually do seafood. Then we breakout the games ... it's family games until late-night.
I drove back home on Monday.. what a beautiful drive.

Today my work will change the world. I'm not afraid ... Are you ?
