The Wedding Party

I was born in London (Ontario) and moved to Guelph in high school.  I did a degree in Business at Laurier and am now at Teacher's college in London.

Paul was born in England and moved to Canada in grade 3 .  Paul is currently finishing up his degree in engineering at Waterloo

My Mom has been really great about taking on the project of having this backyard wedding.  Mom works in Guelph at Workplace Safety & Insurance Board.

Great picture Dad!  Dad loves hearing about the wedding 24/7 - he really is excited...I think!  Dad works in sales for a company in Toronto.  

Barb is Paul's adopted Mother and is married to Eric.  They live in Guelph and Barb is the principal of the high school Paul and i attended.  However, she is retiring in January to join Eric in retirement, so that they can travel 12 months of the year.

Jim is Paul's adopted Father and is married to Anne.  They have retired to Pelee Island and are enjoying their days leisurely.  

I met Lindsay on the first day of kindergarten and we have been friends ever since.  We went to Laurier together and were room mates throughout university.  Lindsay has just started her first 'real job' with General Mills and has moved out to Vancouver.  Lindsay along with Stroh will be the Co-MCs for the Evening and I'm sure she'll have some great stories to tell!

Mark is Paul's older brother (2 years older), and this past summer Mark married Krystal and Paul was the Best Man in the wedding.  Mark went to Waterloo for Kinesiology, worked for a year and is now attending teacher's college at Toronto.  

I met Corrie in university and we became friends quickly.  Corrie and Lindsay both studied abroad in France with me last semester.  Corrie has started her first 'real job' with CIBC in downtown Toronto.

Krystal is Paul's sister-in-law, as Krystal married Paul's brother, Mark (see above) this past summer.  I spent many Christmases with Krystal, but it is only recently that we have gotten to really know each other.  Krystal works in Toronto and they have just bought their first home in Toronto.  

I met Erin when she was sailing in the Bahamas with her family in grade nine.  We were 'deep friends' who kept in contact over many years when we were far apart.  Erin has recently started a job in Toronto and is living with her boyfriend Chris in a great apartment, near Mark and Krystal.

Jeff and Paul have been friends since they met at swimming lessons in grade 3.  They liked to do "outdoorsy" things together, like finding confluence points (don't ask!!!).  Jeff is currently working in Korea teaching English, but he will be back for the wedding (we hope - ha, ha!)

Steve is my  younger brother (6 years) and he is in grade 12 at St. James in Guelph.  Paul must have inspired something in Steve because Steve has decided to pursue an engineering degree next year in University.  

Ryan is called "Stroh" by all (even my Mom!) and so that is what I will refer to Ryan as.  Paul and Stroh have been friends since high school and they like to do "outdoorsey" things as well (including those confluence things!)  Stroh is attending the university of Guelph for Geography (i think!).  He is going to Co-MC the evening, so you will get to hear a lot from him!

   Dave is Paul's younger brother (2 years).  Dave has just gotten his new job with Sleeman's and will now be the new supplier for beer for all our family functions.  

Scott is yet another of Paul's brothers.  Scott is leaving in Cctober for Australia to work and travel - lucky guy!  Hopefully he doesn't like it too much over there, so that he doesn't return for the wedding!  

Sibley is Paul's cousin, daughter of Paul's aunt and uncle, Anne & Dean Hutchinson.  She was the youngest cousin on Paul's side, until the recent birth of Anne & Dean's baby, Griffin. 

Jamie is my youngest cousin and is the son of my aunt and uncle, Nancy and Dave Huber.  He is quite excited to walk down the aisle in his new tux!
