HaT 8046 Thracians

The box contains 16 troops with theirs 16 with round pelta, 12 with crescent pelta and 4 with an oval wicker shield. For each figure I have listed the shield type weapon(s) headgear.

• 8 x Round, Jav, Pilos*
• 4 x Theuros, Jav, Thracian*
• 4 x Theuros, Romphia, Thracian
• 8 x Theuros, Jav, Romphia, Thracian
• 4 x Wicker, Sword, Foxskin
• 4 x Crescent, Romphia, Foxskin
• 8 x Crescent, Jav, Foxskin

Most figures have the traditional foxskin boots and cloak. With a little cutting you can modify the cloaks and boots to give a more general Hellenistic appearance. Those figures marked * are most suitable for Mercenary Theurophoroi/Peltasts. The figure with the Wicker shield is I believe supposed to be from the Dii tribe.

Following the DBA2 I/48 (1x3Cv (Gen), 3x2LH or 3Ax, 6x3Ax, 2x2Ps) list you can build a Lowland Thracian army with 9x3Ax, 2x2Ps and still have enough for 3x4Ax, 1x3Ax and 1x2Ps. All you will need is some Hellenistic CV from the Zvezda Macedonian Cavalry.

These troops appear in many DBM lists so your money will not be wasted.
