For your amusement

This is a tale of a Sailing Trip.....

This trip to BVI was not only a first for both of us, but a birthday present for the Captain. At first we had thought about the Abaco’s, and thankfully we changed our minds.  The weather would have squashed those plans anyway.  I culled as much information from trip reports submitted by others as well as scanning all the websites I could find to gobble up information.  Not only was BVI something foreign to me, but I was venturing out on a limb by securing a bareboat with limited sailing experience under my belt.  I was just hoping that Jim doesn’t mind that the term ‘dinghy gal’ holds multiple connotations for this trip – Thank God he’s accustomed to single-handing, he’s gonna need that experience.

...Sailing itinerary as it came to be  -- (not as originally planned!)

one thing to remember all planned itineraries change at the whim of Mother Nature!

Day One --     Road Town to the Bight at Norman Island
Day Two --     Norman Island to Jost Van Dyke (Great Harbor/Little Harbor)
Day Three -    Little Harbor JVD to the Bight, overnight at Sopers Hole
Day Four -      Soper's Hole to Cooper Island, the Bath's VG, and haul butt back to Little Harbor JVD
