Hello out there. My name is Don A. Landhill, and I am a spanking enthusiast. I have been posting to the USENET spanking newsgroups ASS (alt.sex.spanking) and SSS (soc.sexuality.spanking) since 1996. In fact, I was one of those who helped create SSS (something some people may not view as a positive achievement). My email address is Dlandhill@aol.com.
I have been into spanking for 20-25 years or more -- almost completely in fantasy. Sorry, no R/L stories to recount. I had spanking fantasies before I knew that anyone else ever did, and before I ever dated, much less had sex with, anyone. In fact, I had some confused fantasies which had a spanking component (and which I *now* realize were sexually charged) in grade school.
I don't know why I had these fantasies (and still have them) -- I was never spanked or physically punished as a child, nor was it a real part of my experiences. No one used it as a threat that I can recall, and I never saw or heard of any R/L spankings as i was growing up. My exposure to the concept was pretty much entirely through fiction.
In college I discovered the "letters" magazines in the Adult section of the bookstores, which often had a page or three about erotic spanking (mostly dreadfully written, but I was young). From there I found commercial slick publications like Spank Hard (LDL) and Janus, and from there Shadow Lane (yes I ordered episode ONE by mail order) and then CF Pubs, Sassy Ladies, Strictly Speaking, etc, etc, etc. (Some people say I read too much -- both erotica and R/L)
I wrote a few stories for Steve Richardson at CF Pubs (which he was kind enough to print and pay for) but more recently, most of my writing has been posted free on SSS, and now on this site. Here is a list of those of my stories available from CF. I urge you to order them from Steve, and tell him I sent you. (Besides he has lots of other good spanking stories.)
I am a slow writer. I tend to be rather busy in R/L. Besides, I have a bad habit of letting a story get bigger and bigger and bigger... This can lead to long gestation times, and unfinished stories on file. Here is some more detail on my Unfinished Stories, for anyone who might be interested.
I am married (and have been for several years) and I am very much in love with my wife. Unfortunately, she is NOT into spanking at all. Moreover, it is not likely that she ever will be -- she was abused as a child and her abuser called it "punishment". She is aware of my interest and accepts it, but does not understand it at all, so I take care not to wave it under her nose. Therefore, I haven't "spanked around" and I doubt that I will in future (although I can dream). I find that books and magazines, the internet (particularly SSS), and my own fertile (heh heh!) imagination are enough for me. (I have attended the occasional spanking party.)
I strongly prefer M/F (or M/f) followed by F/F, and (rarely) F/M. M/M is usually not a turn-on for me. I am definitely hetero, but some of my friends and at least one relative is gay. I have no problems with them -- they just don't turn me on. (Of course, not all M/M is gay oriented at all, but still it rarely does it for me somehow.) I tend to like role-play or semi-role-play stories -- perhaps because I can "sort of" see myself doing that sort of thing.
I am particularly fond of age-play -- where an adult role-plays as a child. Several of my stories, and of my favorites by other authors, feature this theme.
I can't imagine personally engaging in RL discipline (from either end) but I find hearing/reading about it very interesting -- and exciting.
I enjoy "filks" -- more or less popular songs with their words completely re-written but with meter and often rhyme scheme preserved -- as well as other kinds of light verse (limericks, double-dactyls, etc). I have posted a number of examples of this kind of thing. Here are my spanking parodies.
Since early 1999 I have enjoyed a writing partnership with SamPast, working with her characters in her "Twin" and "Little One" series.

I have recently (as of April 2002) been off-line for quite a little while. M ore information on my is here, for those who are interested. As this incident has made publicly obvious, Don A. Landhill is not the name by which I am known to the non-kinky world. I have long followed a policy of carefully keeping this identity separate from my legal identity. There are various reasons for this, some of which should be obvious. While it might be possible to track down my other identity, I have tried not to make it easy. Furthermore, if anyone is able to do so, I will take outing or threats of same as a very hostile act, and retaliate in any way that I can.
