Database and Computer System Development Experience
  • Developed and implemented a Management Information System for the Hotel Tesoro San Blas, integrating accounting, room, inventory, payroll, and maintenance records. (Private investment) 
  •  Developed a computerized information management system for the Projet de Gestion des Ressources Naturelles to use in managing natural reaource training materials and personnel. Bamako, Mali: June to October, 1993 (World Education)
  • Wrote the specifications for the computerization component of the Fiscal Policy Planning and Management Draft Project Paper for USAID/Belize: Aug. 1990. (Devres, Inc)
  •  Provided technical assistance in all aspects of the development and management of a Farming Systems Research Institute computer center responsible for 22 micro-computers.  Duties included maintenance, training, data base development, and user assistance. In addition, provided consultancy services in all phases of computer information services, on an as needed basis, to three other computer centers related to the project: October 1991 to May 1993.   • Designed and implemented theSysteme d'Information sur L'Agriculture et les Ressources Naturelles (SIARN): Jan. 1989, Aug. 1989, & Dec. 1989--A Geographical Information System for the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture, integrating cartographic, and remote sensing data with information from the National Agricultural Survey.   • Designed and wrote the implementation plan for Systeme de Suivi du Budget d'Equipement du MARA (SBEM): Dec. 1989 & Jan. 1990--Management Information System to coordinate the equipment budgets of 23 entities in the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture. (OICD/USDA)
  • Designed and implemented the spacial analysis component of the Haitian National Agricultural Survey: Sept. 1986 to Dec. 1987--included both a Geographical Information System and Landsat Image analysis facility. (University of Arkansas)
