    Natural Resource Management Experience
    • Land Use Planner on a team analyzing the agricultural sector of Senegal for the USAID Country Strategic Plan: March to May, 1997 (ISTI)
    • As Information Systems Specialist provided technical assistance and training in data analysis to researchers in the Mali Farming Systems Research Division of the Institute of Rural Economics: October 1991 to May 1993. (Louis Berger) 
    • Collaborated in rice species trial and erosion control research as well as providing technical assistance to the Landsat land use inventory in Haiti: Sept. 1986 to Dec. 1987. 
    • Coordinated the activities of an English speaking researcher with his Spanish speaking national forest inventory team in the Dominican Republic: Spring 1985. (MSU)
    • Conducted a land use inventory through photo interpretation of the entire island of Jamaica as part of a seven member photo interpretation team: Sept. 1984 to Mar. 1985. (MSU)
    • Supervised two data entry technicians in developing a digital cartographic data base for the Michigan Health Department: Jan. to May 1984.  (MSU)
    • Produced nine 1:50,000 thematic maps for Honduran natural resource assessment project: Fall 1983.  (MSU)
