 A graduated English Major,
each day is measured, websites flashing, news pages flipping, gums of advice ever flapping.Try a quarter ounce of patience-to keep his fingers afloat- ever reaching. All for a dream never seen never touched. Just something he heard about on the way home from school. it'll all work out. each day passing one after the other all marked out, clearly defined with the american dream. But nobody every painted a picture of the dreamless sleep. Nobody ever fans the flame of imperfection just to see it grow, but it does grow. it consumes what it touches, all it touches, the one perfect thing of it all. Hungry. all of america is hungry, eating up things we don't taste, and i measure out my nickels, my dimes and a penny a time or two.
