Rockin' on down that road
As in the days before
Before our poetry collided
Travelling
Setting the rising sun to your back
Runnin' down the dream
Once Again
Coming full circle
To the land of the setting sun
Rolling within painted yellow lines
Rotations keeping time
As wheels flow on tar
Once Again
And if denied your steel horse
Would I still be able to hear
The clocking of old dusty boot heels
Down Highway 61
And know that your rambling...Once Again.
