 Western Carolina University |
- 1994-1995
- Western Carolina University.
Partied Studied through two years of general education requirements. Although WCU had everything I wanted in a University, they did not have my intended major. While there I was both an officer and a gentleman (well, at least an officer) in the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, Zeta Omicron chapter. Pursuing the best programs available for Sports Medicine in the state, I was led to WCU's arch rival!

 Appalachian State University |
- 1996-1997
- Appalachian State University. I graduated with a B.S. in Athletic Training after completing the Sports Medicine curriculum. This curriculum included well over 1000 hours of internship (trainers don't have much of a life of their own by the way) in which I was responsible for the assessment, treatment, care, and rehabilitation of athletes on various teams, but with emphasis on Football and Women's Field Hockey teams.

 Pacific College of Oriental Medicine
|
- 1998-2001
- Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Located in always sunny San Diego, PCOM is considered one of the top five schools in the country for Oriental Medicine studies. My education consisted of 11 trimesters (nearly 4 years, year round) of classes as well as over 200 patient visits as an assistant and over 250 patient treatments as a clinical intern. Classes included 10 trimesters of Chinese herbal studies, numerous "hands on" needling classes, studies in internal organ diagnosis, five element treatments, pulse diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, and over 700 hours of continued study in Western medicine. After completion of the program I was awarded a Master's of Science degree in Oriental Medicine.
