DRIVER RANKINGS
A highly scientific ranking of the world's best racing drivers.

7. David Coulthard and Kimi Raikkonen - Hopefully McClaren will have a better system for picking their #1 driver than they did in 1998.  Depending (obviously) on the strength of McClaren in 2002, both of these guys could have a shot at the World Driving Chamionship.
9.  Ralf Schumacher - It's hard when your brother is the highest paid and most famous athlete in the racing world and your teammate is ranked #2 by my illustrious website, but somehow Ralf soldiers on.  By the way, it look like he is intentionaly aiming for the gravel trap in this picture.  No Ralf!  Don't do it!!
10.  Jarno Trulli - He makes the move to Renault (formerly known as Benneton) for the 2002 season.  Expect more middle-of-the-pack finishes from a guy that has the talent, but not the equipment, to do better.
11.  Nick Heidfeld - a lot of people said Heidfeld was better than Raikonnen in 2001, but I'm not buying into that.  He is pretty good, though.
12.  Rubens Barrichello - Drives best in the rain.  Unfortunately, it didn't rain much this year; and even if it had, his teammate is even better in the rain.  A reliable and non-threatening back-up for Michael.
