The summertime hit band. These guys are as predicable as Christmas.  They're next CD will sound exactly like this one. They need to put out a live CD before their fuel burns out. -Mike
Travis Meeks give us a break!  Are the orchestras getting bigger  or is that your ego!  Days of the News had something special on their first CD and now its called Tantric.
Get back to basic Meeks.  Forget the fancy smanchy and give us that cool acustics shit you do best. -Mike
Let's face it, without Chris DeGarmo they suck even more.  I really like the first CD to this double live.  Listnening to those songs that came out 15 to 20 years age with the added edges was kinda cool.  The Mindcrime suite was weak and and an insult to the powerhouse Operation: Mindcrime was.   -Mike
Machinehead is knocking 'em dead with this one. It fucking rocks.  Nuff said.  -Mike
DUDE NEWS Feature CD
Pushmonkey is at it again trying to break into the ranks of bands with that hard mod rock sound (ie Saliva, Fuel,Incubus) but just can't seem to find a horse out of Texas.  Call it bad promotion or just bad management.  These guys are massive live and hopefully this CD will give them the recognition they deserve. -Mike

52 years of age will not stop the
Ozmeister especially when Zakk is around. "Down to Earth" is not the
thunderous opus "Ozzmosis" was but is still a riff induced album.  Oz does
include his obligatory ballads but follows them with tunes saturated with Zakk riffs that will have you marching across the room in your own private Blitzkrieg. Many will say, "Haven't I heard this before from Lord Oz?" but he does it so well that you must just kick back and rock along.  Praise be to whatever that Zakk was behind the guitar as it drives all the tunes, including ballads, into Ozzy meisterverks. On a personal note, put on the headphones and rip the volume up on track 5, "That I Never Had" and blast. Many a smile rippith forth.  -SRDJ
A lovely piece from our crazy backwood buddies from West Virginia.  These guys have been touring their asses off and have had some great billings with C.O.C, Clutch, and Nubula.  K2B continues to kick ass without a note being sang, -Mike
Shangri-La-Dee-fucking-Da. This CD has good cridical acclaim but it just wasn't for me.  I have allot of mixed feeling about this one.  Scott Weiland must have just wanted to show off STP's song writing ability with an unusual amount of slower and off beat songs that we're not used to.  Good effort and production with a few butt kickers.  Just not what I was looking for. Here's what Rolling Stone had to say.  -Mike
