Starting Out

After launched MTD, you will see the starting screen from which your adventures begin. Select from the following:

New Avatar - Start a new game and make a avatar, DungeonKing is going to show characteristics with each stats. You can make 3 avatars at the same time

Load Avatar - Once started and saved a game, press this button to load a selected avatar and continue your adventure.

Delete Avatar If you delete your saved avatar, press this button to remove. If Avatar is dead, color of avatar's name will be red.

Exit Game Quit the game

 

Creating a character

 

After selecting New Game on the title screen, you will be presented characteristics window.

There are 3 groups of information for the avatar

A. Base Skills

They represents of avatar's conditions, and shows always on the main game window.

Portrait : Your avatar's portrait, you can change the face with move the scroll bar.

 

HP (Heap Point) : (MTP+STP+Inte+Emo)/4 - The most important skill probably. This determines how much damage you can withstand before you die. Each time you lose your Sub-skills, you may lose some HP. When your health drops below 0, you die.

 

MTP(Mental Point) : (All Spirit skills + stabl)/5 - Help removes or destroys magical forces on any locker or magic shield of monsters. Also helps your relation with gods

 

STP(STamina Point) : (All Physical skills + All Movement skills)/5 Help removes or destroys physical forces on any locker. Also helps your endurance from monster's attack at the battle.

 

MP(Mana Point) : How much energy you have to cast magic spells. You lose some energy when you cast a spell. It depends on which magic use.

 

Inte(Intelligent) : All lore skills/5 + All magic skills/11 : Helps you search or find something invisible, hidden items or objects

 

Emo(Emotion) : All Doom skills + Stabl)/4 Increase number of traders who can buy or sell items you want, number of call for, kind of and number of selling items at barter gate, helps your communicating with NPCs(Nonplayable Character).

 

B. General Info

General information for avatar like name, age, etc

 

Name : Avatar's name

Age: Avatar's age

Sex: Avatar's sex

Lvl: Avatar's level, you will level up when you gain proper Exp.

Exp: Avatar's experience, you'll gain experience when you win the battle with monsters or pray successful.

Blue bar is current experience you gain and red is need-experience to level up.

Bur: (Endu+Str) * 80% - Burdenity, Influences how much you can carry

Money: money you have.

Red bar is current burden you carry and blue is your burdenity.

 

C. Increase Points

You can increase each skills until this point is 0, it can shows when you start a new game or level up.

 

D. Buttons

Reroll: Reroll a dice and redistributes points which it defines at checked skills.

Init: Initialize points all skills

Back: Back to a previous window

OK: Confirm and start a game.

Help: Shows this.

 

E. Sub-Skills

Information of Detail skill for avatar; There are 3 sub-skill groups; Physical, Mental, Magical.

 

l   Physical group

Endu:(Endurance) Measures how hardy you are and increases skills faster when you get damaged.

Str(Strength): How muscular you are. Influences how much damage your physical blows do in battle.

Dex(Dexterity): How fast avoid and guard you are. Helps you act sooner in combat, be less likely to be hit by monsters.

Agi(Agility): How fast attack you are on your feet. Helps you act sooner in combat, hit more often with physical weapon.

Luck: Helps you whenever something random happens around you. Which is often. Gives you a small bonus when doing just about anything, example, gain much more items, money or improve probability of flee on battle

Humor: Helps monster's Intensity and Frequency decreases when you begin battle with them. Also gives more good chance to trading when you trade items at Barter Gate.

Fashi(Fashion): Helps monster's Stable decrease when you begin battle with them. Also gives more good chance to trading when you trade items at Barter Gate.

 

l   Mental group

ManaC:(Mana Consumption) : Helps you whenever use MP by cast a spell, decrease MP consumption rate.

Intensity: How strong attack you use either physical or magical. Especially gives much more powers on magical attack

Frequency: How frequent attack you do, the higher, may have chance to attack several times at once

Focus: Gives more chances to find weakness of monsters, and also flee rate when you want to do

Stabl: Helps stableness you have, increases probability of attack, guard, and flee success rate

 

Tip> If your Dex, Agi, Stabl is too low, you can't hit monster at all..

 

W_SA(Weapon and Shield Appraisement): Shows more information of weapons or shields in the item dictionary and use invent weapon and shield by research

MonsterA(Monster Appraisement): Shows more information of Monsters in the monster dictionary and use tame monster by research

ArmorA(Armor Appraisement): Shows more information of armors in the item dictionary and use invent armor by research

JeweryA(Jewery Appraisement): Shows more information of armors in the armor dictionary and use invent by research

ArcaneA(Arcane Appraisement): Shows more information of magic or mystic objects you have in attack/defend magic dictionary and use chain attack/junction attack by research

 

ChainA(Chain Attack): Makes magic chain attack by yourself to make successive magic.

JuncA(Junction Attack): Makes magic junction attack by yourself to make a new magic by combining magic you know

Tame: Helps you can summon and tame monsters

Decipherment: Helps you read Samadhi

Invent: Improves possibility of make a new item

 

W_SL(Weapon and Shield Lore): Helps you use weapon and shield, if you have low the skill, can't equip them

MonsterL(Monster Lore): Helps you can use monsters, if you have low the skill, you can't handle them

ArmorL(Armor Lore): Helps you can use armors, if you have low the skill, can't equip them

JeweryL(Jewery Lore): Helps you can use jewelry, if you have low the skill, can't use them

ArcaneL(Arcane Lore): Helps you can use magic or mystic objects, if you have low the skill, you can't cast or use them

 

l   Magic group

Fire,Water,Tree,Gold,Earth,Moon,Sun,Summon,Black,Ancient,Legend: Helps you can cast that school magic, the higher, gives much more power on the magic you cast, but lower than the magic's difficult, can't cast

Tip> Not support Moon,Sun,Summon,Black,Ancient,Legend magic on this version..

 

Tip 1> You can't increase or decrease All base skills except MP manually; but your Sub-skills can effect on them

Tip 2> The more MTP, STP, Inte, Emo you have, the more HP you.

Tip 3> Most of Sub-Skills come back slowly with time. Otherwise, you need to Rest to restore them.
