5/28/2004 - The second compilation release show at Ramsay Park. Better than the first. Over 200 people showed up to support the bands. Thanks to everyone for helping to make it a success.

4/30/2004 - We have our first of two compilation release shows at Ramsay Park in Watsonville. It is also the first official "Durge Presents" event. The bands were great and the crowd was even better. Thanks to everyone who participated.

4/27/2004 - "An Empty Vee Collection" (the long awaited Central Coast Compilation) is released!

4/1/2004 Pro Choice and the Coathangers wins a Goldie Award in the Santa Cruz Metro for one of the Top Ten(#8) Santa Cruz Band Names of All Time!

2/27/2004 - OUR FIRST CONTROVERSY!! After several successful performances, Pro Choice and the Coathangers is banned from playing the SC Rockfest due to the show's "Christian" affiliation and the band's chosen moniker.

1/12/2004 - We begin work on a compilation of bands from California's Central Coast with plans to have it as our second release. It is scheduled to be released in April 2004.

12/20/2003 - With much fanfare our first release from Pro Choice and the Coathangers is unveiled at the Ramsay Park Teen Center to at least 117 soon to be adoring fans.

October 2003 - Durge Records is born much to the dismay of the pro choice special interest groups which did everything in their power to abort the Durge fetus before the first tri-mester.
