This time our main destination was Banda Aceh. From Medan, it takes an hour by plane and 13 hours by car. Many people have already taken refugee at tents in Lhoksmawe, but standing actually in the middle of the city of Banda Aceh, where the number of victims is the largest, you come to realize the urgent need for even more help in relief work. It is very painful to think of those who lost their family and their belongings in a short period of time.

We divided ourselves into two groups. Those from the United States flew directly to Banda Aceh, and those carrying EM went by car and stopped at Lhoksmawe on their way.
