This is a picture of Martha Jane (Edwards) Poston's tombstone located in the Polston/Poston Cemetery in the Kessinger Community, Hart County, Kentucky. Martha Jane known as "Mattie" was born May 17, 1866, and died January 7, 1898, as a result of pneumonia. She was the wife of Stephen Douglas "Doug" Poston and the mother of Laura Florence, Jessie, Shouda Virgil, Emma Dora, Callie, Clarence Shelton, and Ollie May.
