The Polston/Poston Family Cemetery near Kessinger, Hart County, Kentucky was grown up and in extremely bad shape UNTIL the Spring of 2002 when Polston Descendants cleared the trees, bushes, briars, etc. Our Polston Descendants have erected a new chain link fence, gate, and an American Flag. Also, we've set some new tombstones and have planted 148 Spring Flower Bulbs in the Cemetery. Since sowing 30 pounds of grass seed on 01 October 2002, we now have a carpet of green. The above pictures were taken by me. The picture on the left was taken on 12 May 2002 and the picture on the right was taken 20 November 2002. Our Polston Family Cemetery is maintained by monetary donations from family members. We plan to have the cemetery mowed every three weeks during the spring, summer and fall mowing season. Email me epb1937@scrtc.com for additional information. THANKS!

The Polston/Poston Cemetery is located on what was once known as the OLD STEPHEN GOODMAN FARM in the 1800's and known as the ISAAC MARTIN PRESLEY FARM in 1930-1971. It is located off Highway 88, seven miles west of Munfordville, Hart County, Kentucky, in the area known as the Kessinger Community. A brown POLSTON CEMETERY sign is located where you turn off Highway #88 onto a dirt lane leading back about 1/4 mile to the cemetery that lies on a hill.
