Like Natalie Imbruglia, Kylie Minogue and more lately Holly Valance, Kimberley Davis first experienced fame as a day-time soap actress in Australia's famous series Neighbours. Unlike Nat, Kylie and Holly, Kim decided that acting was her bag, and didn't go the pop music route. Instead she went to the United States of America, and moved from cheap and cheerful daytime soap, to cheap and crap evening soap, in the shape of Pacific Palisades.
During these halcyon days, Kimberley turned down an offer to be the next Wonderbra Girl, and an offer to audition for Baywatch.
But the mighty also fall: in August 2005 Kimberley was reduced to appearing in an Australian reality show called Celebrity Circus. In 2007 she was appearing in Australia's Dancing With The Stars. By August of that year she was back on British TV... in an advert for soap powder. Perhaps we should just take this as an illustration of the fickle nature of showbusiness. We wonder what she thinks when looking back on the things she passed up in the late 1990s.
